Varanasi: The Assemblies of God Northern India region’s Easter Uttar Pradesh youth camp concluded on 29 September 2009. The theme for the camp was taken from Jesus’ promise to his apostles: “You shall receive power.” Around 300 young people from 18 districts of Uttar Pradesh (UP) participated in the camp that began on 28 September. They participated in various activities and competitions. Fifty youths consecrated themselves for Christian ministry.

The camp was inaugurated by Rev. C. P. Raju, the presbyter of the Easter UP section. Pastor M.K. Babu (Delhi), Br. Belsy Issac (Lucknow) and sister Getzial Mohan (Chennai) were among the guest speakers. Pastors Prakash Masih, AnandRaj, Binu. R, and Nandlal chaired various sessions.
