 MADHYA PRADESH ISAI MAHASANGH CELEBRATES
 FOUNDATION DAY
 

Bhopal : Madhya Pradesh Isai Maha Sangh celebrates it first Foundation Day with a campaign to provide drinking water to birds and distributing utensils to poor Christians in Avlikeda Village near Ashta, Sehore District of Madhya Pradesh.

Madhya Pradesh Isai Mahasangh President Kurishinkal Joshi said, "Isai Mahasangh has succeeded in bring many scattered organization under one banner, we have active branches in all most all districts of Madhya Pradesh."IM coordinator Fr. Anand Muttungal told that it is one of the noble ways to celebrate the foundation day by creating an awareness among the people to work of environmental protection, so we have distributed one thousand earthen pots to people to keep water for birds at home. We have also contributed to the deepening of the Bhopal Lake for two months along with Archdiocese of Bhopal.

General Secretary in-charge of Office, John Cheriyan told that we have done a number of training programmes for the office bearers and members of our movem-ent, we will continue to work for our community. While briefing the social activities cultural Secretary of IM said, "We in collaboration with many other NGOs including Red Cross have provided cloths, blankets, bed sheets , toys to orphan children, medical camps, providing plastics to poor etc, we see a greater role for Maha Sangh in the social field."

IM working President and Political wing incharge Shilendr Andrews pointed out that IM has been able to motivate many Christians to join the sociopolitical field, we are planning to be extended our leadership training to sub divisional headquarters too." The political training in-charge M S Manu says "there are good numbers of youths slowly joining the leadership from all denominations; it is very encouraging to note the graph of the Christian community in the political life of the society is improving.”

Madhya Pradesh Isai Mahasangh was founded on 19th April 2008. Richard D'Silva , General Secretary incharge of Membership , claimed that MPIM have over five thousand registered members all over M.P. We are planning to start our state unit in Chhattisgarh. Dr. Christy Abraham is working in this direction. We are trying to develop a local leadership in North India in comparison to powerful South Indian Christian Leadership.

Bhopal district secretary Joji said, We received best wishes from well-wishers from all over the state. IM has tried to unite people. We will carry on our campaign to save life of birds, animals, plants etc. through. MPIM Life is precious and its worthiness has to be brought to the notice of people.

MPIM has a special place for Christian women. The state president of womenfs cell, Sheela Shantiyago said, "The power of women has to be utilized in the best manner to transform this society. We will be organizing a mass meeting of women soon in Sagar district to bring them to the main stream of the society. Christian women have a great role in the nation building, we will encourage women to contribute to the society. We have taken it as our aim for the coming two years.

MPIM inaugurated its state office today. Hundreds of members and well wishers witnessed the blessing ceremony of the office at Nehru Nagar. Fr. Anand Muttungal blessed and opened the office.

Mathew Abraham, Vipin Toppo, Roy John Thatta, and Shilendr Ladge prayed for people.
