 EVANGELIST KILLED IN BIHAR
 

Sunday, 02 May 2010 Patna: An evangelist has been killed in Jamalpur of Bihar allegedly for his conversion activities in the area. A media team consisting of Pastor Yunus Mandal and some youngsters went to screen a film on Jesus Christ at Laksmanpur village in Jamalpur on 2 May 2010.

While screening the film, the generator developed some problems. Ravi Murmu (30), one of the team members, who went out to rectify the problem, never came back. His body was recovered the following day.

Ravi Murmu was an evangelist working with Brethren Church. According to Pastor Yunus Mandal, the motive behind the killing was not clear. Two persons had been picked up by Ravi Murmu was an evangelist working with Brethren Church.
