 BAIL GRANTED AFTER 7 DAYS FOR CHHATTISGARH BRETHREN
 

Durg: Bail has been granted to the four Believers from the Bhilai Brethren Assembly, who were arrested after Hindutva fanatics filed a complaint against them for alleged 'forcible conversion" on April 15.

The fanatics allegedly from the Bajrang Dal and Dharam Sena (Religious Army) attacked them while they were distributing gospel tracts around 8.30 in the morning. The victims have suffered cuts and wounds on their bodies.

Mr. G. Samuel, a believer of the assembly went to the spot to find out the matter. He is also framed with false allegation of forceful conversion along with those who were attacked and latter arrested. Evg. Shalu T Ninan, on being informed of this matter, reached the place immediately was also beaten.

The Christians have been arrested under Chhattisgarh "Freedom" of Religion Act with non-bailable charges. They were also booked under sections 294, 323, 341, and 334. The brothers were in Durg Jail. Pray For: Brothers M S Alexander, G Samuel, K Ravi and Amit Kapse who are facing a court case.
