MINNEAPOLIS, May 11: The international ministry
"Frontiers" plans to give away 20,000 copies of the book
"Muslims, Christians and Jesus: Gaining Understanding
and Building Relationships" to their donors and other
constituents in the USA.
Many readers have praised Carl Medearis' book published
by Bethany House/Baker Publishing Group because his
insights and stories from 25 years of "living, loving
and sharing and grieving" with Muslims shatters many of
the common Western stereotypes about Islam and helps
believers build authentic friendships with Muslims. And
his genuine love and compassion for Muslims is
contagious as it comes through his writing.
"At last a wider public can be encouraged, as I have, by
the life and teaching of Carl Medearis," said Bob
Blincoe, Frontier's U.S. Director. "The stories in
Carl's book were made possible because he and his wife
have followed Jesus outside the safety of America's
gated communities.”
Carl Medearis has extensive experience working and
living with Muslims. A highly sought-after Islamic
expert, he works with international government and
business leaders and speaks at conferences and
universities to 40,000 people annually. After 12 years
of living in Beirut, Lebanon, Carl and his family now
make their home in Colorado Springs.
Bethany House is thrilled to be partnering with
Frontiers in this endeavour which will encourage and
equip many to share the good news of Jesus Christ with
Muslims.
