Church-run home in Hue, central Vietnam, is helping to
stop women aborting their babies by providing a safe
haven for them to have their children. Six months ago,
Tran Thi Thu Hien (not her real name) decided to

Christian aid agency World Vision has suspended its
operations in Pakistan after suspected militants
Wednesday attacked its office, killing six of its
employees and wounding several others. Officials in
Pakistan said the militants armed with grenades and
riffles stormed the World Vision building in Mansehra
district and set off a bomb before opening fire at the
staff.

Witnesses say at least 120 people have been killed in
fighting near the volatile Nigerian city of Jos.
Nigeria's acting president has ordered security forces
to hunt down those behind the violence. Residents in the
village of Dogo Nahawa say unidentified gunmen raided
their village before dawn Sunday, shooting in the air to
draw people out of their homes before attacking them
with machetes and knives.

Thursday filed a petition requesting the U.S. Supreme
Court to review the case of a kindergarten student’s
poster that was censored by a school because it

Muslims in a rural area in northern Egypt, media reports
said. Fighting erupted late Friday in the north-western

a notable study, researchers have found that coffee
included in lunch is helpful in cutting back diabetes
risk. Researchers at the University of Sao Paulo in
Ribeirao Preto, Brazil established that drinking a cup
of coffee only at lunchtime is helpful in reducing type
2 diabetes risks, as opposed to having it at any other
point of time. “Over a dozen studies have linked coffee
drinking to a lower risk of type 2 diabetes--the type
