WORLD VISION SUSPENDS OPERATIONS IN PAKISTAN AFTER STAFF KILLED
March 11, 2010 (Christian Today): Christian aid agency World Vision has suspended its operations in Pakistan after suspected militants Wednesday attacked its office, killing six of its employees and wounding several others. Officials in Pakistan said the militants armed with grenades and riffles stormed the World Vision building in Mansehra district and set off a bomb before opening fire at the staff.

Nigeria's acting president has ordered security forces to hunt down those behind the violence. In a notable study, researchers have found that coffee included in lunch is helpful in cutting back diabetes risk. Researchers at the University of Sao Paulo in Ribeirao Preto, Brazil established that drinking a cup of coffee only at lunchtime is helpful in reducing type 2 diabetes risks, as opposed to having it at any other point of time. “Over a dozen studies have linked coffee drinking to a lower risk of type 2 diabetes--the type closely linked to obesity,” stated the researchers.
