March 5, 2010 Chandpur: Last few weeks we could experience the healing and delivering hands of God in many lives. Tangi is a village 1 km from our Chandpur.

Sister rajani pradhan is around 35 yrs old and having 2 children.the family is devotees of Hindu gods and goddesses. For the last two years she was possessed and shows the symptoms of Asthma, but really there were no diseases, they were financially good and even could take her to Kolkata during last February.

Almost for seven months she could not sleep, she was unable to have food by herself. The hospitals and doctors rejected to treat her. Then they tried all kinds of witchcraft, spent almost 3Lakh Rupees for healing. Then they lost the hope. On February 19th she almost died, her villagers and relatives arranged firewood to burn her body after death.

Meanwhile one of our believers named Laxmana Sahoo informed her husband about us and advised him to call me to their home and pray. He agreed and came to Chandpur, but I was in Bihar, our assistant pastors Sushil and Abed Digal went to her home and prayed.

Actually she was not dead as the villagers were thinking. They advised the husband to bring her to the Sunday service. He with the help of some relatives brought her to the church on 21st February in an auto-rickshaw. My wife and the pastors placed their hand upon her and prayed. For seven months she was unable to lift her head up and was suffering with severe breathing problems. The Spirit of God delivered her instantly and she was healed.

On Monday morning the news spread all over the village and in Chandpur. She herself brushed her teeth and took bath, and started taking food. The richest man in the district Rama Mohapatra invited us to his house to pray for his family, the fish sellers wanted us to pray in their market. During last few days the sick and demon possessed were brought to our residence and they were healed in Jesus' name.

Last Sunday, one lady of around 30 years old came to pray. She had uterus problem and bleeding from several years. The church prayed together and my wife visited her home on last Wednesday along with some sisters 6 kms. away from Chandpur. The family is in inexpressible joy because Jesus healed her completely.

There is a village called Busantpur 10 kms. away from Chandpur. A man in his 50s was paralyzed and unable to walk. Last month, Pastor Sushil and Abed together prayed for the paralyzed and the man is walking properly at present.

Baptism in Holy Spirit: At present I am in Kanthamal of orissa, just in front of the compound where a nun was publically raped by the rioters during 2008 August.

We conducted 3 days' Bible study for our 32 pastors. Pastor Samkutty from southern district was teaching based on the book of Acts. God strengthen me to translate the messages of Pastor Samkutty and Pastor Aji during these 3 days. Eight of our workers were anointed by the Spirit of God. Everyone received enthusiasm and courage by the mighty movement of Holy Spirit.
