Batala, March 13
(Shelly Albert, Correspondent, Punjab): The
National President of All India Masih Sewa Dal, Mr.
Albert Gill, addressed a large gathering of young people
in Said Mubarak village in Batala. He was optimistic
about the role of the Dal in providing guidance to
Christian youth in the region.
“Along with the struggle in getting the religious and
social rights of the Christian Community the All India
Masih Sewa Dal will also take serious initiations to
provide a constructive improvement for the youngsters
because they can make a remarkable contribution in
getting the Christian community out from their
problems,” said the Founder President of the
organization while addressing a huge gathering during a
meeting held in village Said Mubarak (Batala). On this
particular occasion many other important people were
present.
In continuation of his address Mr. Albert Gill further
dwelt at length on the social and religious exploitation
heaped upon millions of Christians. He said that the
"peace loving" Christian community was being blamed for
atrocities committed by followers of other religions.
He said that All India Masih Sewa Dal would struggle for
religious and social issues faced by Christians even as
they stand away from political pursuits. While
mentioning the recent attack on Christians, in insulting
Lord Jesus in Jalandhar, he said with sorrow that if the
Christian community would have taken the previous
attacks on them seriously then this might not have taken
place. He also said that All India Masih Sewa Dal would
co-operate with any political party or Christian
organization which will give due importance to the
social and religious issues faced by Christians in
Punjab.
