GOD WANTS YOU TO BE EXCELLENT

The schools have opened. Students are leaning in their respective classes. The lessons taught in Nursery class is very different from lessons in Class XII. Students learn different lessons in different classes according to the ability to learn in their ages. A student is expected to know thoroughly whatever is taught to him/ her in the class.

God wants us to be excellent. When you learn a lesson in language, science or maths learn it thoroughly. It is important to understand the basic ideas of the lesson. Only then you can excel in that subject. Moreover, you need to be in touch with the subject. Otherwise you will easily forget whatever you have learned. In order to be excellent, you have to revise and refresh your knowledge by regularly reading newspapers and books on relevant topics. To be excellent means to be ahead of others. If we try constantly we can improve our knowledge. We can improve our language skills, power of expression, writing skills, etc.

The fact that you were excellent last year has no meaning now. If you want to be excellent this year, you have to try hard. The recently concluded FIFA World Cup was an example of constant efforts and rigorous training by the teams. Many people thought that the teams with great names like, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, etc. might win the World Cup. But in order to be excellent, that is, to be ahead of others, you need to make constant efforts. Most teams really trained hard and made great efforts to win their matches.

But Spain happened to be the one team who could improve on their techniques and learn from their mistakes better than any other team. So they could make constant efforts and win the World Cup. This was no easy job. Spain, and all other teams had been practicing and preparing for this World Cup for years. In a game like football, you need to have great stamina. Physical health is of utmost importance. The player should also be mentally fit, and should have a positive attitude. They should be fully committed to the game. And the team should be ready to learn new techniques of playing. Only then a football team can be the best team.

In your studies, you should be fully committed. Always be ready to listen to your teacher and learn all aspects of a topic. For every subject, a comprehensive learning is required. When you don't understand something you can always ask your teacher to explain it to you. Or you can ask your parents or other elders. But make sure that you understand thoroughly your lessons. You may think that scientific theories and maths problems are very tough. But if you make an effort you can easily master those subjects.

If you are finding it difficult to learn certain lessons, you can always pray to God for special wisdom. God gives knowledge and wisdom to all those who ask Him. So, before you start learning the difficult subjects, pray to God and ask Him to help you understand. He will surely help you. It is very important to do the home-works on time. Constant practice of solving maths problems is the only way by which you can master the subject.

Dear child, God has given you good intellect. He wants you to be excellent in our studies. With His help you can become the best student in class. What you have to do is pray to God, work hard, listen carefully in the class and constantly practice the lessons. Prayer: “Dear Lord, help me to excel in my studies in this year.
