Dear Author,
My only feeling after reading your article is that, let no one run for Super Mega-Crusades. Revivals start with small groups, like a great river start with a small rivulet. Mr. Tomacwewzki, the over smart CFAN official who have `done' everything to make the crusade a success did not know how to trust in the Lord. And it irritates me to her about the high end Mercedes Benz taxis and the Taj Malabar hotels that the officials require for four days stay in Kochi. WHICH JESUS ARE THEY GOING TO PREACH?
No wonder that God rained heavy rains to disrupt the meetings. He was displeased with the over ambitious CFAN.
The 1998 crusade at Kochi by CFAN was an entirely different story. A lot of people prayed for that meeting including this humble commenter. My brother was saved in that meeting and he attended the power conference.
But 2008 meeting flopped for the greedy offcials, and I don't know what is the status of Rev Bonnke. He was a wonderful Man of God but now what happened? May God help.
But God honored Paul Varghese medamana and will honor him for even greater things. May be that these hard ships were intended by God himself for helping him to humble himself and not to be lifted up by human words of Praise.
May God Bless

The other day Dr. Rick Warren of Saddleback Church in one of his messages said "Idolizing celebrities are like the setting sun casting long shadows on small men". So this is not only in India, it is an international phenomena among the youngsters of the day.

What the Pope has said is very true. The U.S. is turning to the extreme every
day as a secular nation; on the
other hand, the idol of materialism is turning as their deity.
The people
may be attending Churches, but how many are real followers of
JESUS CHRIST? The result might be very surprising.

Very interesting instruction to attain specific goals in life.
When our Headmaster asked the students at the last days of the school year in 1958 about their goals in life, out of the over 100 student of the higher secondary
class, less than one dozen students said about their aim, but the
rest had no idea about their future dreams. Our early dreams and proper focusing of life have greater bearing in opening big doors in front of us, which is a proven mystery.

The chronic shortage of role models has reached to a very critical
stage. People of nobility-character-humility and honesty are very
hard to find; so for the young generation to look up as a role model, hardly anybody.

The perpetually smiling CM of Karnataka is very
serious about his divine call to make the primary
and secondary class students of Karnataka as
spiritually nourished individuals through the
introduction of Gita. Probably, he may be another
swami very soon. First of all, it is not the duty
of the State to teach the students about any religion. Let them learn in their homes or from
their religious places of worship. On the other
hand, if the CM is too much worried about the
depleting moral and spiritual conditions of the
society, then he must be fair and square while
introducing religious books at schools. Let him
distribute the main religious books (Hindu-Christian and Muslim) in all the
schools, and the students must have their total
freedom to select the holy book of their own choice. These very young students can't make a
decision, so let the government teach the students
from all these religious books.

The shallow boasting of economic growth while
witnessing the same old poverty and hunger-expanding slums-malnourished young and old-
same old smoke from the streets cooking a meager
meal simply added to an hungry stomach to keep
the life alive.....are shameful realities of life.
The government will give yearly figures but lavishly blow money for other lifeless purpose.
Until the compassionate people of all religions
look at these hopeless crowd as God's creation,
and morally motivated and alerted to open their
hands and pockets to help atleast one person at a
time, there is no solution for this huge problem.
