New Delhi, 21 Jan
2010: The Annual conference of the North West
District Council of the Assemblies of God North India
concluded here at Bible Bhawan. The Conference that
began on 19th January was attended by pastors and
delegates from Rajasthan, Himachal P radesh, Haryana and
Delhi.
It was a reunion for the pastors working under NWDC in
remote parts of this district. Needless to say, it was a
time of refreshing and spiritual enlightening for the
participants.
Rev. Henry Pillai from Malaysia was the main speaker for
the Conference. His sessions were power-packed and
messages were enlightening to participants. Rev. Jerry
Sullivan and Brad Sullivan also ministered from the Word
in the conference.
Election for the executive committee for the next two
years was also held in a spiritual atmosphere. The new
executive committee constitutes of Rev. Robert Jeyaraj,
Superintendent, Rev. George Varghese, Asst.
Superintendant, Rev. Vincent Paul, Secretary, Rev. P.T.
Skariah, Treasurer and Rev. Koshy Baby, Member.
The new committee envision to reach the people groups of
these four states. Further, they look forward to train
100 pastors and plant 100 churches per year. NWDC is
also prepared to land in Bihar and serve the people in
the coming days. "Our individual churches are being
encouraged to reach neighbouring nations with the
Gospel", said Rev. Jeyaraj.
