BABRI DEMOLITION: JUSTICE DELAYED AND DENIED
The Liberhan commission has brought out the whole truth
about the demolition of the Babri Masjid. But then it

400-year-old building was demolished in broad daylight

BEST NURSE AWARD
Ms. Ponnamma Thomas received the AI IMSONIANS of America
Award for the Best Nurse in Research Work 2008 by Her
Excellency President of India Ms. Pratibha Devsingh
Patil on 16th November 2009. She received the award on
the occasion of the 37th Convocation of the All India
Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. The award was
also presented in the presence of Honorable Union
Minister for Health Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azaad. Mrs. Thomas
was awarded for the exceptional work that she and her
team of Doctors, Health Inspectors, Nurses and
Para-medical staff had achieved in the past ten years in
the Neurosurgical unit of the multi-specialty hospital.

PHILADELPHIA CHURCH CELEBRATES 15TH ANNIVERSARY
Delhi: On 14th November, 2009 The All
India Association of Philadelphia Churches, Delhi,
popularly known as “The Philadelphia Church” celebrated
the Lord’s faithfulness to their ministry in a
spectacular thanksgiving ceremony that lasted from 4 pm
to 6.30 p.m. The programme was held at the MCD Community
hall of sector 18, Rohini, Delhi and was attended by
over 1000 persons belonging to their Churches in Delhi
and other prominent Christian leaders and guests from
the capital city of Delhi.

CELEBRATING WORLD TOILET DAY - DELHI STYLE
New Delhi : The morning of November 19,
World Toilet Day, I went to the prestigious Parliament
Street of Delhi. The stench that rose from the street
was worse than any stench from the worst slum in Delhi
or Mumbai. Protesters, mostly sugar cane farmers from
various villages used one side of the road as a public
lavatory. Human refuse lay scattered all over the side
walk.

AMAN KA KARWAN - PEACE RALLY BY YMCA
Ne w Delhi : A peace and harmony rally -
Aman ka Karwan - consisting of an eight-member team on
motorbikes was flagged off by the Chairman, National
Minority Commission Mohd. Shafi Qureshi on 19th November
from the premises of YMCA New Delhi. The rally is in
commemoration of the attack on 26/11 in Mumbai, to show
solidarity to the families of the martyrs. The rally
will terminate at Mumbai by participating in the
commemoration event organised by the Mumbai YMCA. The
aim of the rally is to carry peace and harmony and to
empathize with the bereaved families.

Professional Men's Association, Gideons international in
India, organised a Pastors' Appreciation Banquet at
Vishwa Yuvak Kendra, Chanakyapuri on Wednesday 18th
November. The office bearers in their turn, spoke in

ADVANI TRIES TO WOO CHRISTIANS AT CHURCH FUNCTION
Delhi, Nov 23, 2009: In an attempt to woo
Christians, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday
projected itself as a minority friendly party that
sturdily believes in equal respect for all religions.
The senior leader of the party, LK Advani, addressing
the golden jubilee of the Archdiocese of Delhi, disowned
the party's fanatical patriotism and said "BJP is not
anti-Christian or anti-minority". He termed such
accusations as "motivated propaganda".

WE CAN HELP IMPROVE EDUCATION & HEALTHCARE: CATHOLIC
CHURCH TELLS GOVT
New Delhi, November 23, 2009: On the
occasion of its 50th anniversary, the Archdiocese of
Delhi offered to partner with the Delhi government to
develop and improve schools and hospitals in the city.
"Catholic schools are known for imparting quality
education at affordable fees. The community will be
delighted to partner with the Delhi government in
extending the same level of commitment to teaching to
those who cannot afford private institutions,'' Rev
Dominic Emmanuel, spokesperson of the Delhi Archdiocese,
said in a statement issued on Friday.

DENGUE CASES CROSS 1000-MARK IN DELHI
New Delhi, Nov 23 (PTI): Dengue cases
crossed the 1000-mark in the national capital with ten
fresh cases of the vector-borne disease being reported
today even as authorities said they expect a downward
trend over the next few days. "The total number of
dengue cases has reached 1,009 with ten more patients
testing positive in the last 24 hours," Municipal Health
Officer (MCD) N K Yadav told PTI.
