PENTECOSTALS PROTEST AGAINST HOMOSEXUAL LEGALISATION
New Delhi: Pentecostals, a growing
Christian influence in Delhi, expressed their concern
over the legalization of consensual unnatural sexual
relationship by the Delhi High Court. Pentecostal
Mission Fellowship of India (PMFI), under the leadership
of Pastor N.P.Philip, organized a special seminar on the
issue on 22nd July, 2009 at Rhema Worship Center, Lado
Sarai and discussed the social and moral consequences of
the verdict.

SC RULES IN FAVOUR OF ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOLS
New Delhi, July 21: There is good news for
parents and children who wish to pursue an education in
English medium schools in Karnataka. Those who worried
that their children would be put through compulsory
Kannada-medium schooling from std 1 to 4 can breath a
sigh of relief. The Supreme Court refused to stay the
Karnataka High Court's judgment quashing a state
government order making Kannada the compulsory medium of
instruction in all schools of the state from class I to
IV.

CHRISTIANS PRAY FOR SUCCESS OF COMMONWEALTH GAMES
2010
Church leaders on Tuesday prayed for the grand success
of 2010 Commonwealth Games to be held in October in New
Delhi. Even as preparations are in full swing for the

“POPULATION CONTROL” BACK ON GOVT AGENDA
NEW DELHI: Health minister Ghulam Nabi
Azad on Wednesday urged political parties to rise above
vote bank politics and propagate the message of
population control, saying “aggressive campaign” was the
only way to convince the masses of the virtue of small
family. Ruling out any “coercive method” or
“legislation” to control population, Azad said in the
last 32 years, no political party did any aggressive
campaigning in this vital area.
