The
PRAISE THE ALMIGHTY Newspaper has been in circulation
for 10 years. Over the past 10 years, God has been
extremely faithful to this ministry. Because of His
mercy, not a single issue has been missed since its
inception. We thank God for enabling us to expose the
suffering of Christians around the world and keep you
informed of the happenings. We thank all of you for your
patronage, prayers and cooperation that has been key to
the success of this publication.
 To
mark this 10th year anniversary, we hosted a celebration
on 6th February 2009 at the Delhi Diocesan Community
Hall, 1 Ashoka Place, New Delhi - 110001. Many
honourable dignitaries and distinguished Christian
leaders graced this occasion with their presence.
Towards the end of this anniversary year, we intend to
honour a select number of senior Christian leaders who
have been used mightily by God in and around Delhi.
God has
given us a vision to expand this ministry. The newspaper
has now become a 24-page edition. Furthermore, the
frequency of the publication has been increased from
monthly to bi-weekly. Steps will also be taken in due
course to circulate the newspaper widely by hand in the
churches.
Complimentary copies will be sent regularly to the
cabinet members, Members of Parliament, Political key
party leaders and all Christian organisation and church
leaders.
Now, we
have a vision for this newspaper. Rev. Dr. Valson Thambu
and Mr. M P K Kutty has kindly consented to be patrons
for this newspaper. Br. Philip Eapen, Bright Sam, and
Annie M Babu are committed to devote more time and
energy for this. So, it has made a giant leap towards
progression from February, 2009 onwards. The circulation
has increased in thousands, the size from 12 to 24
pages, periodicity from monthly to bi-weekly and black
and white to colour. These all shows its physical
growth. It will grow further for it has life in it.
But we envision a tremendous spiritual growth of this
newspaper. It will become an instrument to slash down
the distances between the denominations, inculcate a
spiritual awakening for oneness and prayer among the
people, responding Biblically to the moral and ethical
challenges in our nation, expose the good works that
Christians are doing in the building of this great
nation of India and proclaim the Messiah and His
salvation for He is the Way of salvation.
We look forward for our respected Christian leaders
responding to the contemporary issues through this
newspaper. The shepherds may promote this newspaper in
all your congregations through encouraging your members
to subscribe to this newspaper.
We are planning to hold many events to promote budding
writers, ministries and personalities in the coming
days. We earnestly request your wholehearted
participation and cooperation in all these matters.
