 MUMBAI HOSTS NPCTI MEET

Mumbai: Christian leaders from all Indian states met for the National Prayer and Church Transformation Initiative (NPCTI) at New Life Community Centre Borivili West, Mumbai, on March 4 and 5. NPCTI is a federation of Churches and Missions in India committed to finish the task of the Great Commission. Their main intention is to encourage the church to pray and to do outreach work.

The participants were from various prayer networks in India. They shared their powerful and supernatural experiences that they had during these days of united prayer. Also, the coordinators of these prayer meetings appreciated and welcomed the idea of gathering Christian workers from around the country for prayer.

The meeting expressed concern about the increasing instances of intolerance and persecution in India. The need to pray for the forthcoming elections was also discussed in the meeting.

Pastor Joseph (Mumbai), Br. Mohan Philip (UP), Dr. Alex Abraham (Punjab) and Dr. A.F. Pinto (Mumbai), Dr. T. Yashwant Kumar were among those who were present in the meeting.
