PASTOR ATTACKED AND ROBBED IN THE CAPITAL
Hindu
extremists armed with rods and hockey sticks accused a
pastor of forceful conversion, assaulted and robbed him
on March 9 in Tilak Pull Indra Park, Uttam Nagar, New
Delhi. At about 12 noon, the extremists jumped over the
main gate of Pastor A.K Wilson’s house and forcibly
entered into his house shouting abusive anti-Christian
words. They threatened the pastor to vacate his house in
a week time or else face dire consequences.

'INTERCESSORS INDIA' MAKE IT TO WAGAH BORDER
New Delhi: A team of nine under the
leadership of Pastor M. K. Babu travelled from Delhi to
the Indo-Pak border at Wagah on National Highway 1 on
March 13 and 14 to pray for the nation. The team prayed
for India’s blessings in the name of Jesus Christ and
for the forthcoming elections. They stopped at Sonepat,
Samalkha, Panipat, Karnal, Zirakpur, Ludhiana, Jalandhar,
and Amritsar to pray with the people of God in the
respective places.

GRADUATION AND FGC COMBINED WORSHIP
New Delhi: The graduation and commissioning
service of Harvest India Bible Institute (HIBI), the
ministry training wing of Harvest Mission to the Unreached, held on March 8, at Community Hall, Sector
11, Noida. Rev David Grisanti gave the Graduation
Message. Five students graduated with the degree of B.Th
while ten completed their C.Th. from the Ajmer centre.

REFRESHING RAINS DURING HMU-FGC MISSIONARY CONFERENCE
New Delhi: The annual missionary
conference of the Harvest Mission to the Unreached,
Church planting wing of the Full Gospel Church of God,
was held from March 3 to 5 at Campus Crusade for Christ
India conference centre at Palam Vihar (Gurgaon). About
150 delegates represented from 15 states of North India.
Guest speakers from India and abroad Encouraged the
congregation from the Word of God.

WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATED BY THE FULL GOSPEL TRUST OF INDIA
Delhi: The Full Gospel Trust of India (TFGTI),
a 14-year-ol d charitable trust operating all over India
from Delhi celebrated the International Women’s day on
March 6. TFGTI has many programs to uplift the
underprivileged in India, mainly focusing on the
development of women and children regardless of their
sex, religion, caste and creed. One area of their focus
is empowerment of women and the girl child.

CHRISTIANS CALL FOR JUSTICE
New Delhi: N.Gopalaswami, the Chief Election
Commissioner of India, announced that a five-phase
parliamentary election would take place from April 16,
with polls ending on May 13. Just before the
announcement both Catholic and Protestant leaders
released a memorandum, which they plan to give to the
leaders of political parties, stating, "All political
parties must put the security of all religious
minorities, and especially of the Christian community at
the top of their electoral agenda," according to
reports.
