Maiduguri /Vanguard/
— THE Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN,
yesterday, joined Nigerians advocating for a sovereign
national conference to resolve the country's
socio-political problems.
Its National President, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, who led
PFN leaders to commiserate with Christians in Borno
State over last year's Boko Haram mayhem, told newsmen
at the Maiduguri Airport, that "we can no longer
continue to build a nation on falsehood.
"I believe there is need for a national sovereign
national conference for Nigeria.
"After almost 50 years of political independence, I
think it is time for us to come together and discuss our
reasons for being one because sometimes if you don't
understand why you marry a woman once in a while you may
be thinking of all kinds of games to attempt to outwit
her believing that she has no parents," he said. (Sam
