AICC PETITIONS SC AGAINST POLICE NEGLIGENCE AND BIAS
IN MURDER CASE
Ahmedabad, April 9, 2010: Gujarat High Court had ordered
police to take stringent steps to capture man convicted
of burning a young Christian employee to death in 2005
and sentenced to life imprisonment. The accused was
caught and jailed in 2005, but fled custody in 2007. He
was recaptured on 19.03.2010.

HARYANA LINES UP RS 15 BILLION FOR HEALTH INFRA
UPGRADE
Chandigarh, Apr 06, 2010 (FE): The Haryana government
has embarked upon an ambitious Rs-1,500 crore plan to
improve the infrastructure of the health industry in the
state. In a message on the eve of World Health Day,
chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Tuesday said
nine hospitals are being upgraded at Bhiwani, Rohtak,
Faridabad, Gurgaon, Sonepat, Panipat, Karnal, Panchkula
and Hisar to the Indian Public Health Standard.

"PREACHER'S KID" - A MALAYALAM MOVIE BY A PASTOR'S
SON
Trivandrum (Hallelujah): A "pentecostal" Malayalam movie
called "Upadeshiyude Makan" (Preacher's Kid) is set to
hit movie theatres in Kerala! The story was written by
Mr. George Mathew, son of Pastor Kallada Mathai. Mr
Mathew is settled in the US and is a Certified Public
Accountant. Mr Mathew scored the music for the movie.
The screenplay was written by Jose Thomas. Joshi Mathew
directed the film.
